SYNOPSIS

Light southeasterly winds and slight seas will continue across the next 24 hours in association with a weak pressure gradient over the northwest Caribbean. Further east, a tropical wave just east of Jamaica moving west at 15 to 20 knots is expected to move into the Cayman area from late tonight supporting additional showers and thunder. Radar images show scattered showers in around the Cayman area moving towards the west.

Day:  Thunderstorms likely. Rainfall will be locally heavy at times.   Night: Some clouds and possibly an isolated thunderstorm late.

Sea: Slight with a wave height of 1 to 3 feet.
