SYNOPSIS

Light easterly winds and seas are expected over the Cayman area for the next 24 hours in association with a weak pressure gradient over the northwest Caribbean. A surface trough is expected to move over the Cayman area from this afternoon bringing an increased chance of cloudiness and showers.

Today: Mostly sunny skies this morning. Scattered showers and thunderstorms developing during the afternoon. Winds ENE at 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight: Rain showers this evening with mostly clear conditions overnight. .Winds ENE at 5 to 10 mph.

Chance of rain: 30%.

Sea: Slight with a wave height of 1 to 3 feet.

UV: 12 EXTREME (Daily Max at 11 am)
