2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup Quarterfinal matchups and schedule confirmed

Miami, FL (Wednesday, February 28, 2024) – Following the conclusion of the 2024 Concacaf W Group Stage, Concacaf has confirmed the matchups and schedule for the competition’s Quarterfinals, to be played at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, CA, on March 2 and 3, 2024.
The Group Stage of the region’s new flagship competition for women’s national teams took place across three venues – Dignity Health Sports Park (Group A), Snapdragon Stadium (Group B), and Shell Energy Stadium (Group C), from February 20 to 28. After round-robin play, the group winners, runners-up, and the two best third-place finishers advanced to the Quarterfinals. These eight teams are (standings also available here):
Group A: (1) Mexico, (2) United States, (3) Argentina
Group B: (1) Brazil, (2) Colombia
Group C: (1) Canada, (2) Paraguay, (3) Costa Rica*
*At the end of the Group Stage, Puerto Rico (Group B) and Costa Rica (Group C) were tied according to all of the competition’s tie-breaking criteria (points, goal difference, goals scored, and lowest number of points based on yellow and red cards). Per the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup Regulations, in this scenario, a draw was the only remaining option to determine which team would progress to the Quarterfinals. This live draw took place at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, TX, where the competition’s final group stage match took place.
The Quarterfinal matchups have been determined based on the Group Stage standings (available here), with the team that accumulated the most points facing the team that accumulated the least:

The Quarterfinal winners will advance to the Semifinals, scheduled for March 6 at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, CA. The Final, where the region’s first-ever W Gold Cup Champion will be crowned, will also be played in San Diego on Sunday, March 10.
