SYNOPSIS

Fresh to strong easterly winds and rough seas are expected across the Cayman area during the next 24 hours, in association with a strong high-pressure system over the southeast US. A gradual decrease in winds and seas is expected from tomorrow morning. Residual moisture from a weakening stationary front to the east of our area will support showers across the Cayman area over the next 12-18 hours. Satellite images show scattered low-level clouds across the northwest Caribbean.
