SYNOPSIS

Cloudiness and showers associated with a developing broad area of low pressure over the northwest Caribbean is expected to continue to spread across the Cayman area over the next few days. Further deterioration in weather conditions are expected throughout today as the area of low-pressure is expected to move further north, supporting heavy widespread thunderstorms. An increase in winds is also expected from this afternoon with strong to near-gale winds and periods of gale force possible.
