SYNOPSIS

Cloudiness and showers, associated with the outer bands of Tropical Storm Helene, are expected to linger through this evening with a gradual decrease expected thereafter. Strong winds and very rough seas with frequent gusts are anticipated to continue through today, with a decrease expected from this evening. Higher than normal tides may amplify flooding of low-lying areas.

Today: Windy with thunderstorms, especially during the morning hours. Winds S 20-30 mph.

Tonight:  Cloudy this evening. Scattered thunderstorms developing after midnight. Winds S 10-20 mph

Sea: Rough with a wave height of 6 to 8 feet. Marine warning.
