SYNOPSIS

Fresh to strong northeasterly winds and rough seas will continue across the Cayman area for the next few days. From this evening, a dissipating tropical wave will clash with a stationary front retrogressing northward, bringing additional cloudiness and increase the chance for possibly heavy thundershowers overnight for the Cayman area.

Today:  Becoming windy with isolated thunderstorms developing. Winds ENE 20-30 mph

Tonight:  Scattered thunderstorms this evening becoming more widespread overnight. Winds ENE 10-20 mph

Chance of rain: 35%.

Sea: Moderate to rough with a wave height of 5 to 7 feet. Small craft should exercise caution over open water.

UV: 6 HIGH (Daily Max at 11 am)
