Scattered showers across the northwest Caribbean, associated with Tropical Storm Idalia, are expected to continue to spread into the Cayman area through today. Fresh southerly winds are expected across the Cayman area over the next few days as TS Idalia moves northward

DAY: Windy with scattered afternoon thunderstorms. Winds S at 20 to 30 mph. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.  NIGHT:  Cloudy skies. Winds S at 15-25 mph.

Sea: Rough with a wave height of 4 to 6 feet. Small craft should exercise caution over open water.
