5 causes of insomnia
One of the worst epidemics of this century, insomnia, has encapsulated the lives of over 3 billion people in the world. This means that more than half of the world’s population has difficulty while going to sleep. Although this problem wasn’t chronic a few years back, now it has become a serious health issue. Nicotine in tobacco products is an active ingredient that is responsible for the loss of sleep. In some cases, it can also cause the weakening of the bones. So next time you plan to drink coffee after dinner, don’t forget it won’t let you fall asleep on time. Alcohol is not good for the body anyways so it is better to avoid it.

Not to forget, insomnia is a side effect of several medicines being consumed across the globe. People who suffer from cancer, chronic body pains, asthma, heart disease, reflux disease, Alzheimer’s disease and diabetes, often suffer from insomnia. Contrary to this, the treatment for certain diseases has insomnia as a side effect too. So if you’re suffering from one of these diseases, it is essential to get the right treatment on time.
