Moderate to fresh westerly winds and rough seas conditions are expected across the Cayman area today as a cold front move across our area. Further north, another cold front currently over the Yucatan Channel is expected to move across the Cayman area late this evening supporting near-gale force west to northwest winds and very rough seas across the Cayman area overnight. Satellite images show scattered low-level clouds across the northwest Caribbean.

Today: Mostly sunny this morning, then windy with periods of showers this afternoon. Winds W 25-35 mph. Winds could occasionally gust over 50 mph.

Tonight: Windy. Mostly clear skies giving way to showers overnight.  Winds W 25-35 mph. Winds could occasionally gust over 50 mph.

Sea: Very rough with a wave height of 4-6 during the day becoming 9-13 overnight. Marine warning.
