SYNOPSIS

Light and variable winds along with slight seas will continue across the Cayman area for the next 24 hours due to a weak pressure gradient across the Caribbean. The Cayman Islands National Weather Service is monitoring a tropical wave over the Eastern Caribbean which according to the National Hurricane Center has a low chance of development over the next 7 days. The National Hurricane Center continues to issue advisories on Tropical Storm Debby, currently impacting the southeast United States.
