SYNOPSIS

A MARINE WARNING IS IN EFFECT

Isolated showers and rough seas are expected to linger over the next 24 hours as Tropical Storm Eta moves over central Cuba.. Radar images show isolated showers in and around the Cayman area which are moving towards the southeast. The National Hurricane Center in Miami Florida is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Eta, Which at 4 a.m. was located 21.5 N 79.3 W or about 90 miles west of Camaguey Cuba with maximum winds of 65 mph and is moving northeast at 12 mph. The Cayman Islands National Weather Service will continue to monitor the progress of this system. For further details visit www.nhc.noaa.gov.
