CALLING ALL CULLERS!!
Hosted by: Cayman United Lionfish League
Tournament date: March 1st and 2nd
Registration: 5pm to 7pm on Thursday February 27th, at Stingers Bar (Behind Comfort Suites)
There will be both a “Scuba” and a “Free Diving” Division for this tournament with CASH PRIZES to be won for 1st and 2nd place in the following categories:
Most Lion Fish
Most Overall Weight
Biggest Lion Fish
Smallest Lionfish
There will also be a prize for the team that removes the most fishing line from the reef
Weigh in will be from 4pm to 6pm each day at Seven Mile Public Beach
There will be Free Lion Fish Samples at the weigh in prepared by Al La Kevroom
Free Tournament T-Shirts for all registered team members.
Beer Special’s each night.
Tournament Rules:
• Teams to consist of a minimum of two persons, with a maximum of eight persons, per team.
• Each team must have at least one licensed lion fish culler (licensed by the DoE)
• All Lionfish must be de-spined when brought to Weight/Measuring Station, there will be no cleaning station on sight
• Registration fee of $10 per person, due at registration

Fosters Supermarket has handed over a cheque for $20,000 in support of the CULL tournament. This is the second year Foster’s have handed over the money collected from the sale of plastic shopping bags to help the marine environment.
Foster’s had committed to the public that all funds collected for the sale of plastic bags when it introduce the five cent price tag would go back to the community.
