Selita Ebanks was born on February 15th, 1983, in George Town, in the Cayman Islands.

Selita is a Victoria’s Secret model and actress, who has graced the covers of magazines such as Sports Illustrated, Glamour, Marie Claire, Vogue, and Nylon.

The 5′ 8″ model was raised on Staten Island in a large family that included a New York police captain father and seven brothers.

In 2000, at the age of 17 she was discovered while walking through the turnstiles at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey by a modeling scout.

She made her debut as an angel with Izabel Goulart in the 2005 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Ebanks participated in the show until November, 2012, when she retired from being a Victoria’s Secret Angel, telling New York Post gossip column Page Six, “I auditioned this year, I didn’t make it.”

When asked if she will audition again, she replies, “Probably not, no. I think I’ve done what five, six shows? I think I’ve experienced my VS days.”

Selita was engaged to comedian Nick Cannon for five months and was romantically linked to football player Osi Umenyiora, Philadelphia Philly Ryan Howard, musician Maxwell, Kanye West, and Mehcad Brooks.

In 2013, Selita Split from boyfriend Terrence J, the beauty began dating the former 106 & Park host in late 2011, but they ended the romance because of their chaotic careers. A source told New York Post gossip column Page Six, “Selita is just so busy.”

Since 2004, Ebanks has run her own talent school “Stardom Youth Foundation” in her hometown Cayman Islands, providing career guidance for young people.
