38-year-old female charged with burglary

A 38-year-old female from Bodden Town has been charged with two separate burglaries that occurred in the Bodden Town district in May and July of this year, respectively. She has also been charged with drug related offences and is due in court this morning (8).

Robbery, Belford Estates. Two arrested.

On Friday, 04th July 2014 at 6:38 pm a 40-year-old male of Bodden Town alleged to Bodden Town CID that he was robbed of a large sum of cash at a residence on Belford Drive, Belford Estates, Bodden Town. There was visible abrasions to his left arm.

The same evening less than an hour after the victim reported the matter, a 38-year-old female of Belford Estates and a 38-year-old male of North Side attended the Bodden Town Police Station to assist Bodden Town CID with their investigation into the robbery. Both were later arrested on suspicion of robbery and bailed to reappear at Bodden Town Police Station at a later date.

Bodden Town CID is appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time or may have any information that could assist their investigation to contact Detective Constable Berry at 326-1899.
