Beaches in Britain that look more like the Caribbean
By Roshina Jowaheer, From Travel.Aol
These turquoise waters and white sands can be found in the UK!
Fancy a slice of the Caribbean in the UK? Britain has an array of spectacular beaches that give Barbados, Antigua and St Barts a run for their money (on a sunny day, anyway!).
With their powder-soft sand, turquoise waters and gorgeous views, it’s kind of hard to believe that these pretty coves and breathtaking bays can be found right here in the UK.
OK, so the sea temperature might not match that of the Caribbean Sea, but the picturesque beaches in Cornwall, County Antrim, the Highlands and Pembrokeshire are a must-visit and you won’t be able resist dipping your toes in these crystal sea waters.
Achmelvich, Vatersay and West Beach in Berneray are some of Scotland’s finest stretches of sand, while Pedn Vounder and Porthcurno are some of England’s loveliest spots.
