Annual deadline highlights trust services role for Walkers Management Services
Grand Cayman – (25 November, 2011) – With the January deadline for annual registration fees for Private Trust Companies just around the corner, Walkers Management Services is reminding its clients of the need to file their annual declarations in good time, with the group well placed to assist with the complete suite of trust services in Cayman.
“The registration fees for Private Trust Companies and annual declaration signed by the directors are
required by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority prior to 31st January of each year,” said Charlotte Cloete, Assistant Vice President with Walkers Management Services. “We are in contact with our clients to ensure we receive their signed declarations and fees by the end of December so that we can make these filings in a timely manner.”

The Trust Services team within Walkers Management Services is comprised of a group of highly experienced, well qualified and predominantly Caymanian professionals, dedicated to ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
Assistant Vice President Charlotte Cloete is Caymanian and has been with the Walkers Group since 2004. She completed the Cayman Islands Law School’s Professional Practice Certificate programme, sponsored by Walkers Management Services and completed her articles with Walkers. Ms. Cloete was called to the Bar in the Cayman Islands in June 2010 and is experienced in providing trustee services to a wide range of Cayman Islands commercial trust structures, as well as administrative and director services to various special purpose vehicles and corporate structures involved in capital markets and structured finance transactions.
Senior Vice President David Lloyd is a qualified English lawyer, bringing significant experience in the investment banking industry to the team, having worked with Credit Suisse and BNP Paribas in addition to Citigroup where he was a director on the structured products desk. With a LLB law degree from the University of Wales, Mr. Lloyd qualified at the Inns of Court School of Law and was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 2006. A fellowship member of the International Bar Association, Mr. Lloyd holds a number of qualifications with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and is a chartered MCSI, as well as a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Completing the Trusts Services team is Senior Administrator Christina McLean, who recently successfully completed the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management and is currently enrolled in the Advanced Certificate and Diploma in Fund Administration, in association with the University of Manchester Business School. In her role, Christina oversees a mixed portfolio of trusts and asset finance, structured finance and other holding companies. Prior to joining Walkers Management Services, Ms. McLean worked as a Trust Officer at ATC Trustees (Cayman) Limited, where she was responsible for a portfolio of private client trusts and companies.
