Armed Robbery – George Town

At 11:45 pm Friday 18th July 2014 police received a report from a male taxi driver who reported that he was robbed at knife point by two (2) males.
The complainant related that he was dispatched to a service call at Deckers Restaurant and Bar on West Bay Road where upon arrival he drove to the rear of the building and was approached by the said males. The males entered the vehicle, demanded cash and was driven to the round-a -bout in the vicinity of AL Thompson.
The males stole a sum of cash and were last seen on Sound Way George Town.
The victim received minor injuries.
The suspects are described as of dark complexion, slim built and wearing dark clothing. At the time their faces were covered.

Three arrested for taking marine life during closed season & possession of ganja

On the 15th July just after noon, the newly appointed police officer to North Side Police Station arrested three East End males aged 20,21 and 32, respectively for taking marine life during closed season, namely conch and possession of ganja. The offences occurred in East End. They were bailed to return to the Bodden Town Police Station.
