Billy the kid is seeking his forever family!

We are sending this appeal out for Billy the kid! Billy is currently in a wonderful foster home through the Humane Society. He was surrendered to the shelter several weeks ago by his owner. CARE worked with the family last month on behalf of the Humane Society, getting all of the 5 adult dogs in the yard spayed and neutered through our Free community program. Which included Billy’s Mom and Dad, who by the way have super temperaments.

Billy is approximately 12 weeks old and has a beautiful brindled coat and white blaze on his chest and is a shepherd/lab blend. He was the runt of the litter so is a little small for his age and a little shy. While in foster care he has been building up his confidence and loving being part of a family and experiencing and learning what life as a puppy should be. He really enjoys interacting with his K9 foster brother and sisters and loves playing with them, he enjoys being with older children and adults who can appreciate his timid nature. He has wonderful house manners, sleeps through the night, loves his crate, and so far no accidents in the house.

We are therefore now seeking a forever home for this very special little guy who we are sure will melt your heart the moment you meet him!

There is one serious thing about Billy: He is a puppy who needs a forever home. He needs to be taught all those good things that puppies need to learn in order to grow up to be an adult dog, of course. A puppy is a project!   But there’s nothing this little one would love more than to grow right up into your family. When you look into his expressive eyes, they seem to be asking you to “Adopt Me!” Does his face capture your heart?

Billy is a healthy little guy and has received his first vaccine, health check and deworming and is also neutered.
