Two separate road accidents – injuries – one victim air ambulanced

#1 Road Accident
At 5:42 pm, Tuesday 6 January 2015, a 56 year old male resident from George Town was hospitalized with injuries he received after being in a motor collision along the Easterly Tibbetts Highway near the junction with Raleigh Quay.
The collision involved a motor cycle of which the injured male was riding and a Toyota Windom motor car. The injured male was transferred to the George Town Hospital for treatment where he was admitted. He has been air lifted to a Miami Hospital on Wednesday 7th January 2015 for further treatment. His condition is said to be stable.
The matter is under investigation by uniform officers from the West Bay Police Station.
#2 Road Accident
At 1:15 pm Thursday 8th January 2015, the emergency services were called to a motor collision along the West Bay Road near the Esso Gas Station. The collision involved a bicycle and a taxi vehicle. The female rider of the bicycle received injuries on impact and was hospitalized at the George Town Hospital. The injuries are not said to be life threatening.
The matter is under investigation by uniform officers from the George Town Police Station.
