Robbery in George Town, Grand Cayman

George Town Police Station detectives are currently investigating a reported robbery which occurred on Saturday 10th January 2015
Circumstances are that on Saturday 10th January 2015 about 12:47am, a male resident of George Town was attending a business establishment on Eastern Avenue in the vicinity of Dolphin Centre. Upon leaving the establishment to await his friends he was approached by two to three males who proceeded to assault him and demanded his cell phone and cash.
The victim received punches and kicks to his face and body and was robbed of his cell phone and wallet containing money. The offenders left on foot towards the North Church Street direction. The only description of the assailants are that they are of dark complexion, low cut hair; wearing jeans and dark coloured T shirts.
The victim did not receive and serious injuries as a result of the assault.
