This weekend, Police arrested a 23 year old male from West Bay on Robbery and Burglary offences. He has subsequently been charged with one count of robbery, one count of Possession of imitation firearm and 3 counts of burglary.

The robbery occurred on the 20th September 2014 at Walkers Road George Town when 2 males, one of whom is said to have had a firearm, robbed the victim of his wallet and other personal items.

The burglaries are in respect of a commercial premises on Eastern Avenue on the 30th September 2014, a residential address at Birch Tree Hill Road on 1st December 2014, West Bay and a further residential address at Boggy Sand Road, West Bay which occurred on New Year’s Eve 2014.

The accused is due in court this morning (16)
