Cayman Islands medical centre to help local brain tumour foundation

National-Cancer-Prevention-MonthTrinCay Medical Services, situated in Jasmine Court, Camana Bay, Grand Cayman, has become a sponsor of the Cayman Islands Brain Tumour Foundation.

TrinCay Medical Centre & Urgent Care (AKA TrinCay Medical Services) is a state-of-the-art polyclinic with a team of internationally outstanding physicians covering more than a dozen medical specialties. It has an elegant and brand new medical facility and employs specialists from all over the world who are excellent in their fields of expertise.

Speaking on local television CITN/Cayman 27’s news last Monday (16) neurosurgeon, Dr. Konstantinos Margetis, said foundations provide a much needed support group for the patients, and that is just one of the reasons why TrinCay has pledged their support.

“Patients need not only healthcare, but they also need support foundations that will provide them with not only psychological support, but also help with many other practical issues,” he said.

President of the foundation, Brenda Archer, also speaking on CITN said the support of TrinCay puts them one step closer their goals.

“With TrinCay coming on board now, it takes us a couple steps further, because they are already a medical facility,” Archer said.

February is National prevention Month and Archer said they are encouraging everyone to wear orange this month in support of those who lost their lives to a brain tumor, as well as those who are still fighting.

Trincay’s team of physicians, nurses and support staff are highly committed to their patients, and always accessible. The specialist physicians are permanently on the island and on call 24/7. All appointments are booked appointments and the wait time is minimal. The employees speak a variety of languages including English, Spanish, Tagalog, French, German, Hungarian, Polish and Russian.
