Maxxis joins Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League as official tire sponsor
Miami (Monday, March 3, 2015) – The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) and its commercial partnership agency, Traffic Sports, announced today that Maxxis, a leading international tire company, has signed on as the official tire sponsor of the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League.

Maxxis, an international tire producer and distributor with operations on four continents, joins the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League as Official Tire Sponsor, with rights to use of Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League marks, promotional rights, activation rights at stadia throughout the region, televised signage, and branding in official tournament media and materials.

The quarterfinals of the 2014-15 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League resume tonight, when CF Pachuca visits Impact de Montreal in a decisive return leg matchup in Canada. On Wednesday night two more semifinal spots are on the line, when Mexico’s Club America hosts Costa Rica’s Saprissa, and DC United receives LD Alajuelense, also of Costa Rica, in Washington, DC. On Thursday night, the final 2014/15 semifinalist will be decided in Costa Rica, as CS Herediano plays host to Honduras’ CD Olimpia.
The 2015/16 edition of the annual tournament will begin in August, with 24 clubs from countries across North America, Central America and the Caribbean once again competing for the title. The seasonal winner of the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League earns the Confederation’s berth in the annual FIFA Club World Cup.
