Breathtaking Caribbean sunsets
By Helen Simpson From Th
There’s something about an amazing sunset that gives me goose bumps just thinking about it.
The way the sky changes from warm shades of golden yellow and orange to beautiful hues of pink, red and purple. I love the way the clouds add an extra dimension, creating dark shadows which take on incredible forms.
You’ll find breath-taking sunsets across the globe, but the Caribbean has to be up there with the best places to witness them.
Imagine you’re sitting on a pure white beach, the sand is soft like powder. Listen and you can hear the distant sound of reggae music as it travels on the breeze. You’re looking out over the sparkling sea as a huge, golden ball of light starts to disappear beneath the horizon, like it’s fallen off the bottom of the earth. The warmth on your face starts to become cooler, as the sky becomes darker and darker.
Welcome to some of the Caribbean’s most breath-taking sunsets.
