Two men are in hospital following an early morning road crash on Linford Pierson Highway.

Just after 2.20am on Wednesday 28 December, a Honda Civic, which was traveling on Linford Pierson Highway left the road and collided with a tree, near to the riding stables.

The driver, aged 26, and his 24-year-old passenger were taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital where they are currently being treated.  The driver is in a serious condition and the passenger is stable.

As a result of the crash, a section of the Linford Pierson Highway was closed for a time to allow traffic investigations to take place. The road is now open.
