CONTEST

The RUBIS Summer Jetaway Competition (the “Competition”), exclusive to participating Rubis Service Stations in Grand Cayman, will run until Thursday 27 August 2015 with the final prize drawing taking place on Friday 28 August 2015. The Competition Prizes are as listed in the Prize Schedule, the terms of which may be adjusted or amended by Rubis at its sole discretion at any time prior to issue. There will be a weekly prize draw for each location, which will take place on the dates specified in the Prize Schedule and winners contacted the same day. All entry cards will be collected before 10 pm the day immediately before any prize draw is to take place.

ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for prizes, participants must have received 6 stamps valued at CI$25 each on their RUBIS Summer Jetaway contest card with proof of purchase of any Rubis Fuel totaling CI$150 attached in the form of receipts. Participants also stand the chance of winning instant “scratch and win” prizes as specified on the contest card and subject to availability of prizes at participating Rubis Service Stations. “Scratch and win” prizes may only be claimed by presenting a completed contest card together with all 6 (Walkers Rd, AA Rubis (Shedden Rd), Seven Mile Bach, Eastern Ave, Madac, Joses’ Escape) stamps, fuel receipts and complete personal details to the cashiers at participating Rubis Service Stations. Contest cards are accepted for all fuel purchases made by cash/debit card/credit card customers only. Qualifying competition participants must provide their legal name (matching that of their Photo ID) and provide a valid contact phone number and email address. Once all 6 stamps have been received then Participants may enter the competition for weekly and grand prize draws by depositing their completed contest cards together with fuel receipts and complete personal details into the designated RUBIS Summer Jetaway competition boxes at participating Rubis Service Stations. Participants should note that photo identification is required when claiming prizes. If any prize winner does not respond within 30 days of issuing the prize and having been contacted at the provided email and phone number a minimum of 5 times, a new winner will be selected. Prize winners must agree and allow Rubis to use their name and/or photograph for promotional activities. Entry into the competition is open only to persons who are legal residents of the Cayman Islands (18 years of age or older) at time of entry EXCEPT employees (full, part time, temporary, etc.) of Rubis Cayman Islands Limited and its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, public relations, direct marketing and promotion agencies, retailers, owners, operators, managers and staff (full, part time, temporary, etc.) of Rubis Service Stations, and/or any entity related to the contractors, servants or agents of Rubis Cayman Islands Limited and all Rubis Service Stations AND their immediate households.

GENERAL

Rubis, its directors, shareholders, employees, representatives, agents including but not limited to Rubis’ advertising, public relations, promotions and direct marketing agencies, its lawyers and other entities related to this competition (the ‘Released Parities”) are not responsible for any accidents, claims, damages, losses or injuries of any kind whatsoever that arise out of or in connection with this competition or the issue of any prizes in terms hereof. Each participant agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims arising from this contest.

Rubis does not guarantee that prize winners will be able to claim, utilize or enjoy any prize to which they may become entitled as a result of any personal circumstances including but not limited to age, validity of or restrictions on travel documents; medical conditions, insurance or otherwise. The Grand Prize Vacation Package requires participant/winner to have at least valid travel documentation, valid driver’s license for rental car and valid credit card for hotel & rental car security/incidentals and meet any other necessary requirements.

All prizes are valid for a period of 1 year only. The value of travel packages may in certain circumstances be applied as a credit at the participating travel agent and subject always to applicable conditions and restrictions. Grand prize package includes airfare, accommodations, rental vehicle, and 3 day mulitpack passes for two adults and two children

Rubis’ responsibility is limited to awarding the offered prizes to the selected participants who, by their participation have agreed and bound themselves to the terms and conditions contained herein. Rubis reserves the right at any time to withdraw, adjust or suspend any of the prizes or the entire competition. Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash equivalent other than specifically stated in the Prize Schedule. With the exception of “scratch and win” prizes, no single participant shall be entitled to more than one prize and weekly draw prize winners shall not thereafter be entitled to participate in the grand prize draw. The prizes are redeemable ONLY in the Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands as directed by Rubis Cayman Islands Limited. By entering this competition, the participant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions, which are not assignable. Notwithstanding anything contained herein, Rubis reserves the right at any time, in its sole discretion, to amend, add and/or delete any of these terms and conditions without notification and all participants shall be bound by such amendments, additions and or deletions. The constructions, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these terms and conditions will be governed in accordance with the laws of the Cayman Islands.
