North West and Penelope Disick meet a mermaid on Paradise Island St Barts

As the Kardashian-Jenners enjoy their luxurious break on the celebrity-favourite Caribbean island of St Barts, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian made sure there was something to remember in the tropical paradise for their little daughters North West and Penelope Disick.

Pregnant Kim Kardashian posted a picture of what appears to be a mermaid swimming in their villa pool. She captioned the photograph: “Mermaids are real”.

The reality TV star followed it up with another adorable snap of North and Penelope, who can be seen gazing at the mermaid as she leans against the edge of the pool. The two tots are dressed in their very own mini mermaid costumes complete with coloured scaly tail – North in sea green and Penelope in pink. The little girls also have matching top knots in their hair.

The mermaid certainly looks ethereal, with glitter on her face, a seashell necklace dangling from her neck and her iridescent tail in rainbow hues of crimson and purple dangling in the air behind her. Kim, 34, captioned the shot: “Little mermaids”.

Kanye’s wife also gave fans a glimpse of more of the Kardashian-Jenners’ holiday view, with a sea shot that she captioned: “heavenly”.

The famous clan have been enjoying their latest getaway since Monday when they landed in the French island – a favourite of the likes of Kate Moss, Rihanna, Lana Del Rey, Simon Cowell, Jay-Z and Beyoncé.

E! cameras are capturing their adventures – the trip marks the Keeping Up with the Kardashians stars’ annual family holiday which is featured on the hit reality TV show.

So far, the famous family have been shopping in the idyllic island’s capital, Gustavia. Khloé and Kendall have also been pictured riding on quad bikes while cameras captured their every move.

No doubt the clan will visit plenty of the island’s breathtaking beaches, such as Saline and Gouverneur on the south coast and Colombier, which is easily accessed by boat.
