Man Charged with Wounding in connection with West Bay Stabbing on 21 September
The man arrested in connection with a stabbing incident on 21 September (press release below) was charged today with one count of Wounding and will appear in summary court Thursday, on 24 September.

Around 10:30pm last night, 21 September, officers responded to a disturbance in the vicinity of Duxie’s Lane in West Bay. A verbal altercation between two men residing at the same address appeared to have escalated to physical violence, during which one of the men, age 32, received stab injuries to his torso and neck. During the incident the other man, age 47, was bitten by a dog on his lower leg.
The younger man was transported to George Town Hospital where he underwent treatment for non-life threatening injuries. The older man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of Wounding and treated for the dog bite. He is currently in police custody.
The matter is under investigation by West Bay CID.
