Cayman National Bank officially opened its newly expanded Little Cayman Customer Service Centre 15^th December 2011 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony coupled with a Customer Appreciation day for its customers. The ceremony was kicked off by the students of the Little Cayman School singing Christmas carols.

The expanded Customer Service Centre now hosts a new ATM, a first in Little Cayman.  With operation hours of Monday and Thursday 9:30am – 2:30pm, the ATM allows customers to complete their banking transactions outside of banking hours. The new space is now larger providing customers more privacy while conducting their banking transactions.  The new service centre, ATM and the new Cayman National 2012 calendar were well received by all in attendance.

In his opening remarks, Cayman National Bank Executive Vice President, Brian Esau said: “Cayman National is pleased to again bring banking to our clients.  Just over a year ago we expanded our premises in West Bay, and today we are happy to see the completion of this project in Little Cayman which also now houses an ATM to better serve our customers.  As the only local and community retail bank in the Cayman Islands, we understand that our responsibility must go beyond ‘doing business’ to partnering with our clients to achieve their financial success and the socio-economic development of our country.  This grand opening speaks to continued growth of Cayman National and our dedication to our customers and the greater community.”

A moment of silence was held for the late Mr. Linton Tibbetts who was instrumental in the expansion of the Customer Service Centre.  Mr. Kyle Hooker spoke on behalf of the Tibbetts family who were happy to see the partnership with Cayman National come to fruition with benefits accruing to the island as a whole.  Reverend James Barron of the Little Cayman Baptist Church blessed the Customer Service Centre and its dedicated staff.  The ceremony ended with a ribbon-cutting by Mrs. Zanda Scott, Manager of the Cayman Brac and Little Cayman Customer Service Centres and Mr. Truman Bodden, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cayman National Corporation.
