CIFA – FIFA Goal Project – Independent Committee Review

As you are aware, there has been a lot of attention placed on, and speculation in relation to, the FIFA Goal Project.

In order to answer all questions and address all concerns in a open and transparent manner, the CIFA Executive Committee has resolved to appoint an Independent Committee to review all aspects of the FIFA Goal Project, from inception to present, and provide an independent report to the general public.

CIFA will invite (i) the Ministry of Sports to appoint two (2) independent members, (ii) the Office of the Auditor General to appoint one (1) independent member, (iii) the CIFA membership to appoint two (2) independent members, (iv) CIFA sponsors to appoint two (2) independent members, and the CIFA Executive Committee to appoint two (2) independent members.

CIFA will aim for the Independent Committee to convene in early January 2016 and provide their report as soon as possible thereafter.
