Just past 4AM this morning officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on July Street in George Town.  A blue Chevrolet had collided with a Honda Civic parked in the yard of a residence.  As a result of the collision, the Civic smashed into the awning of the residence, causing damage.  A woman in the residence was injured, and was taken to the hospital along with the driver of the Chevrolet, a woman, age 21, of West Bay.  Both were treated and released.  The driver was arrested on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence and Careless Driving.  She is now on Police Bail.
