We can now confirm the identity of the deceased driver in this morning’s accident as Ethel Vinola Ebanks.

This morning, Thursday, 28 January, officers and emergency personnel responded to a single car accident in Cayman Brac on Stake Bay Road near Kirkconnell Supermarket. The driver appears to have been exiting the parking lot when she lost control of the vehicle and hit a nearby light pole. The driver, a woman, age 85 (approx.) was later pronounced dead at Faith Hospital.

Police are investigating the accident.
