A man was robbed of a bag of cash by armed thieves outside his house. 

The robbery took place just after 2am on Sunday morning at Palm Dale in George Town. 

Chief Inspector Richard Barrow of the RCIPS said: “The robbery was reported about 2:06 am.

“The male victim, a resident of Palm Dale reports that upon reaching the exterior of his residence he was approached by two men who subsequently stole a bag containing an undisclosed sum of cash. 

“At the time the suspects’ faces were covered and they were armed with what appeared to be a  handgun and a knife.  The suspects fled the scene on foot.”

No shots were fired and no-one was injured in the incident.
