Man robbed in West Bay
A man has been robbed at gun point inside his own home. It’s the second similar robbery in less than 24 hours.
The incident happened just before 7pm Sunday at Capt. Curry Road in West Bay.
Chief Inspector Richard Barrow said: “The robbery was reported at 6:53 pm.
“The male victim reports that he was at his residence when a male armed with what appeared to be firearm entered and stole his wallet and two cell phones.
“The suspect is described as of slim built, approximately 5’10” – 6ft in height.
“At the time the suspect’s face was covered with a black mask and he was wearing a long sleeved black shirt and a long pair of black trousers. The suspects fled the scene on foot.”
No shots were discharged and no-one was injured during the incident.
In the early hours of Sunday morning a man was robbed outside his home in Palm Dale, George Town. It is not known if the incidents are linked.
