It has come to our attention that a site named On Da Mic (www.ondamic.com) posted an article online yesterday evening which stated that the five persons missing since last Sunday had been found unconscious but alive by fishermen on Cayman Brac.  Subsequent to the posting of this article, RCIPS officers on Cayman Brac investigated this account with checks at Faith Hospital, and found it to be a hoax.

 The RCIPS strongly condemns such callous and reprehensible reports.  We cannot imagine the pain and grief they have caused to the families of the missing.
