Cayman Islands Employers’ Forum meets for breakfast
The early morning forum on Wednesday, 16th March was to listen to and receive feedback on the programme, which caters for students attending the Cayman Islands Further Education Centre (CIFEC).
“Of particular note is the employers’ continued support for providing work placement opportunities for young people,” said Heather-Ann Cahill, career services manager at CIFEC. “In addition to sharing their experiences, forum members in the spirit of partnership, gave suggestions on how the programme may be improved so that businesses, young people and the community as a whole could benefit.”
Operating since 2009, the Year 12 Programme is designed to provide valuable work experience opportunities in collaboration with employers, with the current programme for this school year ending on 24th March.
