The victim in the drowning incident last Thursday has been identified as Mr. Delmer Nelson from the state of Illinois.

Thursday, 24 March, just before 1PM officers responded to a call regarding a water-related incident near Harbor Drive.

A man, age 79, appeared to have gotten into difficulties while snorkeling. He was transported to GTH, where he was pronounced dead.

The man is from the United States.
