From RCIPS 12:35 PM 18th April 2016

Just before 2AM yesterday, Sunday, 17 April, a man came to WBPS to report a robbery and assault at WB Public Beach that had just occurred. The man informed officers that he had been punched and kicked in the head by another man whom he knows. The victim said that his attacker also had a knife and took his mobile phone.

Officers took the victim to the hospital for treatment and made checks at WB Public Beach for the suspect.

Yesterday, the suspect, age 32, of West Bay, was arrested on suspicion of Robbery and Assault and is currently in custody.
