BY BRIAN ANTHONY HERNANDEZ From Mashable

LOS ANGELES — The stars imbibe freely [especially at events like the annual Golden Globes awards] inside the Beverly Hilton ballroom, and you can drink along with them at home.

Known as “the drinking show,” the Globes keep the liquids flowing.

Impatient Foodie founder Elettra Wiedemann concocted two recipes just for the Globes, plus two at-home versions of each glamorous cocktail.

“I definitely wanted to make cocktails that were accessible, and for that reason, the ingredients are few and can be found easily in liquor stores,” she told Mashable.

Here’s how to make all four versions of the official Golden Globe cocktails (including champagne from drink sponsor Moët & Chandon).

Moet Sunset Starlet
“The Moët Sunset Starlet is light, citrusy and effervescent,” Wiedemann said. “The blend of citrus flavors plays very nicely with the berry notes of the Moët Rosé.”

INGREDIENTS (makes one drink):

¾ ounce Lillet

½ ounces dry Curacao

¾ teaspoon honey

¼ ounce lemon juice

2 dash orange bitters

Spritz of fresh clementine plus twist

Impérial Rosé

DIRECTIONS: Combine Lillet, dry Curacao, honey, lemon juice and orange bitters in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously. Pour over ice into a white wine glass, and top with Impérial Rosé to taste. Garnish with a fresh clementine peel or orange peel.

INGREDIENTS (makes one drink):

½ ounce vodka

½ ounce Cointreau

½ teaspoon honey

Impérial Rosé

DIRECTIONS: Combine vodka, Cointreau and honey in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously, and pour into a white wine glass. Top with Impérial Rosé.

3. Moët Bijou Rouge

“The flavor of this one is much stronger, so I suggest using less base for this cocktail,” Wiedemann said. “Brandied cherry is important, here.”

INGREDIENTS (makes two to three drinks):

2 ounces of gin (Smooth Ambler)

½ ounce dry Curacoa

¾ sweet vermouth (carpano antiqua)

2 dashes of orange bitters

Brandied cherry garnish (adding in a touch of the brandied cherry syrup)

DIRECTIONS: Combine the gin, dry Curacao, vermouth and orange bitters in a cocktail shaker, and mix well to combine. Pour into a coupe glass (if you have one), and top with Moët Brut. Be sure to top with brandied cherry, and add in a little of the yummy, sweet syrup.

4. Moët Impatient Bijou (at-home version)

INGREDIENTS (makes two-three drink):

2 ounce gin (Smooth Ambler)

1 ounce sweet vermouth

2 dash orange bitters

brandied cherry

Brut Impérial

DIRECTIONS: Combine sweet vermouth, gin and orange bitters in a cocktail shaker over ice, and pour into a coupe glass. Top with Brut Impérial to taste, and garnish with a brandied cherry (don’t forget to include a tiny bit of the cherry syrup).
