A man, age 21, of George Town, was arrested last Friday, 13 May, on suspicion of Robbery in connection with the incident outside the Burger King on Walker’s Road last week. He is currently on Police Bail.

Around 11:45AM last night, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre received a report of a robbery on Walkers Road near Burger King. Two employees of the establishment had left work and were in the parking lot when they were approached by two armed men. The men then took the handbag of one employee and ran off. No shots were fired and no one was injured.
