The ‘Sky Cycle’ in Japan’s Okayama Prefecture’s Brazilian Washuzan Highland park is surely one of the most insane rollercoasters in the world.

Some rollercoasters promise to speed through bends and make your stomach drop, but this one has a difference.

Whilst it’s not the fastest of rides, it promises to petrify you. So what makes it so unique?

If you want to ride this rollercoaster, you have to pedal it yourself.

Pedal-powered and four-stories above the ground, only the seriously brave will be able to endure the terrifying experience.

With no rails to protect you from falling to a grizzly end, the amusement park offers the ride to anyone who is daring enough to try it.

Only a seat belt holds you into the tandem bicycle, where you then have to ride the tracks while looking down at the intimidating view beneath you.
