This morning, Thursday, 23 June, personnel of RBC Bank discovered that a burglary of the bank’s premises on Shedden Road that had occurred sometime after business hours yesterday. Access was not gained to the vault, however a quantity of cash was taken from the cash dispensing units at cashiers’ desks.

Detectives responded to the report this morning and the incident is under investigation.

Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity around the bank’s premises after 9PM yesterday evening, or who may have any information regarding this incident, is asked to contact George Town CID at 949-4222.
