Triple C Graduation
A weekend of celebration culminated in the Commencement Exercises for the twenty-two seniors graduating from Triple C School. The celebration activities started with a Baccalaureate Service on Sunday night, June 5th with the seniors being inducted into the Alumni Association. The high point of their celebration was receiving their diplomas and certificates at the Commencement Exercises on Monday, June 8th, from alumni Mr. Norman Bodden, Class of 1953.
At the Baccalaureate Service, Michaiah Bryan, Class of 2006 was the keynote speaker. Michaiah shared with the graduates that he remembered sitting where they were and looking back now he has learned many lessons since graduating, one key lesson being that your time is valuable. “Your time is valuable because you are valuable. You are important. Therefore, everything that pertains to you has value. You are valuable because you were uniquely created by God.” Michaiah encouraged the graduates to start using their time wisely by first getting to know the one that made them and made time – God Himself. As he closed, Michaiah challenged the graduates to value their time by investing in those close to them and by pursuing excellence in all that they do.
For the Commencement Service, the Chairman of the Board, Mr. James Watler, welcomed all the family members, friends, and well-wishers of the graduates at the Family Life Center. As part of the school’s tradition, the service began as robed faculty, with candles symbolically lighting the way, formed a receiving line.

Triple C School has a long and distinguished history of academic excellence in the Cayman Islands. Founded in 1941 as a mission of the Church of God Chapel, the school has grown and changed with the times as Cayman has moved from the island that time forgot to one of the world’s major financial centers. The central goal, as expressed in the Mission Statement remains: “To provide an internationally competitive education in a Christ-centered environment.” Nothing else will do as we prepare citizens for tomorrow and eternity.
