Ogier proud sponsor of Cayman Islands Youth Baseball
This month Ogier supported the Cayman Islands Little League Association with the sponsorship of the Cayman Islands Under 16s team to attend the 2016 ESPN International Salute to Baseball Tournament in Orlando, Florida from June 26th thru July 2nd.
11 players and 5 coaches and team assistants represented Cayman at the event. The players gained valuable competitive experience at the international level and memories to last a lifetime. One of the team’s games was played in the ESPN World of Sports Professional Stadium which serves as the Spring training facility for the Major League Baseball team the Atlanta Braves.
Team coordinator Latoya McField said, “The boys got to meet, interact and form bonds with other players within their division… Our boys have had an experience they will remember forever. They are already asking about when they can do another tournament. They now know what they are up against out there and are preparing to train even harder. It gives them something to look forward to.
“The Association extends a special thanks to Ogier for their generous support to our team.”

This organisation provides a healthy environment for children from all backgrounds to come together, work as a team and enjoy the sport of baseball. The tournament was a great opportunity for the kids to learn and compete on an international stage.”
