When it was discovered he had very poor heart function, Arthur’s cardiologist recommended he go to Health City Cayman Islands as conventional therapies could not adequately address the condition.

His cardiologist wanted him to have the best possible attention to address dilated cardiomyopathy so he was referred to Dr. Ravi Kishore, an Interventional Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist, and Senior Adult Cardiologist at Health City.

Dr. Ravi, as he is often referred to, implanted a Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy (CRT) pacemaker device to treat the symptoms and complications associated with heart failure, and reported a great outcome after the procedure, including improved heart function.

As for his recovery? “I feel great,” said Arthur, noting that his breathing started getting better even while he was still on the table during his pacemaker surgery, a procedure in which the patient is often awake.
