Any peace Michelle Obama experienced from her luxury vacation at the private Caribbean island of billionaire Richard Branson was short-lived, thanks to President Donald Trump and the GOP.

Indeed, immediately upon returning to Washington, the former First Lady was slapped with the news that her legacy is being systematically unraveled by the new administration.

Michelle’s hated Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 was billed as a means to give school-aged kids a more balanced diet by establishing a more rigorous school lunch guideline.

It resulted in nearly inedible food which students wouldn’t touch, an obscene amount of waste, and unsustainable costs for already burdened school districts.

A report from the House Freedom Caucus reads:

“The regulations have proven to be burdensome and unworkable for schools to implement. Schools are throwing food away that students are not eating.”

Thus, Republicans in the House and Senate will be working diligently to roll back Michelle Obama’s signature legislation as part of Donald Trump’s first 100 days plan.
