It is GOOD news …  FAKE news has entered the popular lexicon.

It should stay there forever. It’s about time. FAKE news is always on our minds. FAKE news has existed since the beginning of Time. It has always been acknowledged but not with the clarity the term FAKE NEWS conveys.

Thank you for Donald Trump – that will be a good part of your legacy!

READER ALERT …. Get used to it. I will be forced to compliment Donald Trump from time to time because as in the previous Obama’s America, now in Trump’s America, you will NEVER read fake news.

In Obama’s America in 313 episodes, I only had reason to compliment  Barack Obama a very few times for doing something worthwhile. Obama’s Presidency was such a Scam. I am no Trump supporter but Donald Trump is a far more complex than Obama and certainly far, far more entertaining.

Still my first example of FAKE news here in this episode is Trump himself.

At his post-election and first campaign rally as President last Saturday in Florida Trump opened by quoting the pathetic Thomas Jefferson ….

Here is what President Thomas Jefferson said that Donald Trump quoted on Saturday, February 18, 2017:

Thomas Jefferson said “Never believe what you read in the newspapers.”

Specifically Jefferson wrote … “As for what is not true, you will always find abundance in the newspapers.”

Jefferson also wrote …

“Nothing can now be believed which is seen in a newspaper. Truth itself becomes suspicious by being put into that polluted vehicle. The real extent of this state of misinformation is known only to those who are in situations to confront facts within their knowledge with the lies of the day.”

Thomas Jefferson was a Master of FAKE news! And it reached its pinnacle as Jefferson, so called author of the American Declaration of Independence, wrote “ALL men are created EQUAL with certain inalienable rights. Thomas Jefferson who “owned” hundreds of slaves!

Here is why Trump’s quote is both true and FAKE news ….

President Jefferson was responsible for supporting and funding a so called newspaper – The National Gazette – published by the infamous  propagandist of his time James Callender, whose principal purpose was to print FAKE news about Alexander Hamilton to prevent Hamilton from ever becoming President of the United States. He also savaged George Washington.

Isn’t it so, so IRONIC that Donald Trump quoted Thomas Jefferson? Let me further add again – the SLAVE Master Thomas Jefferson.

Enough preamble for this episode to prepare my point below.

Let’s drill deep into the reality of FAKE news here. And even how, what’s real, can be FAKE news at the same time depending on how it is used. Just as Trump did in his speech last Saturday in Florida!

What is the true definition of FAKE news? This is important. It is far more than simply saying for example 2 + 2 = 5. As Jefferson proved and so many others do there is so, so much more to FAKE news. Again as Trump quoted Jefferson in order to provide himself legitimacy by comparing himself to Jefferson …. “Never believe what you read in the newspapers.”

Superficially there is nothing incorrect in what Trump said. What Jefferson said which is fairly accurate. It is FAKE news because Jefferson was in fact nothing but a hypocrite with that statement. He had his low life crony Callender publish a so called newspaper which was filled with FAKE news about Alexander Hamilton.

So Trump is guilty of using FAKE news in his speech last Saturday in representing Thomas Jefferson as a source of credibility for himself.

That Dear Readers is FAKE news of a very insidious kind.

Here is another recent example in which Donald Trump is the victim of another “sophisticated” form of FAKE news. At the hands of CNN the Comedy News Network. The Clowns who misrepresent themselves as hosts, correspondents, experts in other REAL journalist of different stripes  are anything but legitimate – a “perfect” (sic) example of many –  Don Lemon!

So here is this other form of FAKE news used against Trump …

During the last week, Don Lemon and the others attacked Trump in reference to his position on NATO and said over and over and over again smirkingly (new word!)  – Trump says he supports NATO but ….

This is what they said over and over again: “Trump says he supports NATO but ….” and they ended with BUT each time and did not finish their sentence, leaving clueless viewers to assume Trump was in fact lying.

Here is why the Clowns at CNN did NOT finish the sentence and why they were practicing FAKE news. The complete sentence is “Trump supports NATO but …. he wants the other members to pay their fair share.”

If these Clowns completed the sentence they would make Trump look good which he does on this issue. The U.S. govt. largely funds NATO, whose purpose is to protect Europe not the U.S. Almost all the other members of NATO have a military budget of under 2% of GDP although they are pledged to do so. The worst offender of all is the richest country of all Germany. Who in America would oppose Trump’s position? NObody …so …

CNN resorts to FAKE news using the diabolical method of simply using an incomplete sentence that gives the WRONG impression about Trump.

Another sinister lesson for you about FAKE news – sorry but Donald Trump is the legitimate victim yet again as much as I do not like him and oppose most of his views – we don’t do FAKE news here!

So almost everyone piled on here – CNN, NYT, of course the so called Democratic elites …. they all labeled Donald Trump maybe anti-Semitic. That is FAKE news on steroids and beyond ridiculous.

Donald Trump is more pro Israel than any President ever before him. Trump’s closest advisor is Orthodox Jewish his own son-in-law. His favorite daughter is now Jewish. His grand children are Jewish. Many members of his staff are Jewish. There are many members at his cherished and very exclusive Mar-a-Logo who are Jewish. Yes many of his closest friends are Jewish and the industry he is in real estate is filled with Jewish members.

So why was CNN and the others asking day after day if Donald Trump anti-Semitic? He has never even ever made a statement that anyone could interpret as ant-Semitic. And have no doubt about it – the media searched everywhere in the universe. But still CNN, NYT and Democrats kept asking was Trump guilty of the most vile label possible – anti-Semitism.

That is a horrendous example of FAKE news. So again thank Trump for making the term FAKE news part of our lexicon from now on.

We all need to be on guard against FAKE news in ALL its forms!
