Locally owned and operated A&G Concrete Pools, Inc., was just named by the Master Pools Guild as one of the top 50 pool builders in the world. The coveted award, which was announced in the July issue of Pool and Spa News  magazine, is a highly-sought award given to the top pool and spa builders in the world. A portion of the judging was based on each company’s willingness to serve its community, and there are few businesses which can compare to the generosity of A&G owners Art Allen and Travis Leonard.

Giving back locally

Long known for supporting St. Lucie County charities, A&G Concrete Pools, Inc.’s recognition as one of the world’s top 50 pool builders comes on the 15th anniversary of the international Master Pools Guild Awards, which are seen as the international gold standard in the pool and spa design and construction industry. A global network of elite custom pool builders, Master Pools Guild chooses its top builders based upon revenue, staff, industry involvement, web presence, and community involvement.

A&G Concrete Pools, which is celebrating its 30th year in business, was named for the honor because it scored highly in each of the categories. For A&G Concrete Pools, giving back to the community is second nature. To celebrate its 30th birthday, the company provided three gifts of $10,000 to three local charities, Boys & Girls Clubs, the Humane Society of St. Lucie County, and HANDS/VIM. The $30,000 donation was a way for the company to celebrate the community it has called home for three decades. In addition to the large donations, Allen and Leonard are quietly generous to a host of other nonprofit organizations and groups which share a commitment to caring for community.

“We believe that giving back to the communities that support us and our local youth is important,” A&G owner Art Allen told the magazine. “We support nonprofits in our area and numerous other community related projects.”

Despite being in competition with companies multiple offices and revenues of over $50 million, A&G Concrete Pools, Inc., stood tall and achieved magnificently.

Receiving this international recognition adds A&G Concrete Pools, Inc. to an uber-elite club which include custom pool builders in Australia, Canada, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Dubai, Spain, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, the United Kingdom and throughout the United States, including Hawaii, A&G Concrete Pools, Inc.  Rather than becoming distant as it has grown in size, scope, and recognition, Allen, Leonard, and the staff at A&G Concrete Pools, Inc., have continued to show their gratitude and support for the local community throughout this very special anniversary year by making donations to several local charitable organizations.
