Cayman Islands missing men at sea – one man reported found alive
CITN/Cayman27 have reported on their Friday (4) News “MISSING BOATER HENRICK-HYDES ALIVE AFTER MISSING AT SEA FOR 5 WEEKS”.
They report Edward Henrick-Hydes — also known as Edward Rivers — survived after more than 40 days lost at sea.
Mexican media outlets say Henrick-Hydes said his companion Chadwick Bodden. died days before he was rescued.

Missing Persons Case

In response to numerous press queries over the last hour, I can provide you the following with respect to developments on the case of two men, Chadwick Bodden and Edward Henricks-Hydes, who were last seen on Grand Cayman on 23 June before departing on a boat trip.
We can confirm that information was received that earlier this week a man was found adrift in a boat in Gulf of Mexico. He is in very poor health and enquiries are continuing with regard to the confirmation of his identity as one of the two missing men.
No further information will be released or confirmed at this time.
